MIAMI (USA)- At South Beach in Miami tourists can be buy baby sharks in a jar. What a horrible waste of life and who wants to bring home a jar filled with dead shark as a souvenir? It’s good that more and more people become aware of the endangered status of sharks.

Sharks have become increasingly protected in the United States. In 2011, California passed legislation banning the possession or sale of shark fins, considered a delicacy by some Chinese-Americans. A similar effort failed in Florida in 2012, however. The sales of this horrible souvenir are dropping. Hopefully soon this practice will have no more demand…..
