SAN DIEGO (USA)- There’s been a lot of shark sighting at the beaches close to the Southern Californian city of San Diego. Lifeguards and fire officials last week closed portions of Mission Beach twice after they believed they saw a shark. On Wednesday, lifeguards closed the Children’s Pool in La Jolla after they saw a similar dorsal fin.
A two-mile stretch of coastline at Casa Reef in La Jolla was reopened Thursday, following the third confirmed shark sighting along San Diego’s coastline in a week. At Swamis Beach a photographer took a stunning photo of what appears to be a large shark in the waves amidst surfers.
