What does a shark attack look like? Diver Jason Dimitri made a video of being attacked by a reef shark in the Western Carribean.
He was was culling lionfish, an invasive species, at a depth of about 70 feet the shark first took a run at him and bumped him. Dimitri managed to keep the shark at bay with his spear gun as it made repeated runs at him while he ascended. He caught the whole event on a dive camera, which shows exactly what it would be like to be attacked by a shark.
Dimitri said reef sharks are not normally that aggressive, but he bears the shark no ill will. He added he will have no problem getting back in the water again.
